THE SCHOOL OF MILITARY INSTRUCTION.
The regulations for the new school of military instruction at Mount Cook will appear in the next Gazette. Lieutenant-Colonel Pearce, as officer commanding the district, will he commandant of the school, and Major Butts will be adjutant. The musketry instruction will be under the special direction of Major Eccles, A.8.C., who is an officer o£ the Uifle Brigade, and is known as one of the best instructors in the British army, In struction in artillery duties will be given under the supervision of Captain Badham, while Captain Hume and Inspector Coleman will have the special charge of the ordinary company and battalion drill.
