RULES AND REGULATIONS. i No owner or nominator shall be qualified to enter a horse unless both bo subscribers of at least 21s to the vace fund. Auckland Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. No entry will be taken except upon the condition that the decision of the Stewards in. all matters in dispute connected with the ; races shall be final,,. All entries to include names, descriptions, and age of horses, and colours of riders. Jockeys to ride in colours as described in entry, otherwise .subject to a penalty of two 1 pounds. Horses walking over to receive 50 per cent. 1 of the stakes. Nominations, entries, and acceptances will be received by registered letter bearing post ! mark on or before the date specified Entries, under sealed cover, to be forwarded to- the Secretary, at the Commercial Hotel, Tauranga. All moneys to be paid previous to starting. The winner of any match run on the course to pay 20s towards the Club funds. Ail protests must be aocorapanied with a deposit of 2 soys, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. NOMINATIONS, ACCEPTANCES, &o.
