' ; 'KS-isBOHNE, ' Wednesday i. •' A teirrible 'fire occurred here last night,, and the following- buildings- were destroyed t — Tke Bank of New Zealand, old and now buildings, Adams's, stationer; . Good's, watchmakers; Cooper,, shoemaker ; Bradley 's. stables; the Gisborne. Club, (the Albioni, Hotel); Ailair^s . warehousei, shop, and private residence. The total insurance is; £14,050, and the total loss, £25,000. Had it not been a southerly wind blowing* I the whole town would have been in aslies.
