The following is the report of the passage of the s.s. Rotorua - from Mcl- , bourne .-—Left Queen's Wharf, Melbourne, at ' noon of the 21st, and Hobson Bay. at 2.30 p.m. Arrived at Hobart Town on the 23rd, at 1 "30 p.m. Landed 12 tons, and received fiO. Sailed at 80.30 p.m. Experienced 'strong ea9terley winds and a dense fog from ?lsfe to 2Gth. Entered' Bluff Harbour ou 27th, at 3 p.m. . Discharged 70 tons, and -. landed. 15. .. Proceeded at 8 p.m M > and ' '{•erfcheel, Port ghabner^ next,' day, at B*ls a.m. • -Discharged 78" tons, 'and boarded 15. Proceeded nt 8 p.m., and reached Port next 7 . day at 8.15 Lm. r ' Discharged 130 tons, and took on board 100. Sailed on the 20th at- 5 p.m. - Arrived at Ly ttleton at noon 'of '30th. ' Took on board 20 tons; -Sailed aft 6 p.m.. Anchored in Hawke's Bay on the Ist of- February at 1 p.2n. 62 sheep, 1 bull, and 30 tons of cargo, r Received 5 tons. Sailed at 6 p.m. Anchored in Poverty Boy on Sunday, ai 5.-30 a.m. " Transhipped 25 tons, and sailed at 1 p.m Arrived at. Tauranga early on Monday; 'Light head winds from Otago to Ly ttleton; Thence, to Cape Paliser strong south-east winds and sea. Remainder of passage head winds and fine/ weather. The Rotorua left for Auckland and Sydney, about noon yesterday. The Rowena arrived at a quarter to ten on Sunday morning, after a fast passage of 174 hours. She left Auckland at 4.15 on Saturday afternoon. .
