THE AFGHAN CAMPAIGN.
London, Jan. 17.
Sir Michael Hicks-Beach has admitted that the English woods(?) were undersold in Europe by American competition, and the Government in consequence will endeavour to provide afresh outlet in Africa.
The rapid advance of the British troops on Cabul has produced complete disorganisation amongst the Ameer's troops, and anarchy prevails in the city.
