BUTTER-BOGEY.

At a meeting of the Cheshliht, Herts, Education Committee Mr Bruce complained that a woman teacher told the children that if they ate butter instead of margarine the Germans would invade the country. The result was that the children were- frightened and one boy, seeing butter on the table at home, nearly went off his head. in answer to Mr Bruce \s request that the committee should take action, the chairman advised him to see the teacher privately.
