THANKFUL FOR LIFE.
The late Dr Kitchin, Dean of Durham and Chancellor of Durham University, who left estate of £5415 gross value, closed his will with the following requests: "Let no one make any memoir or biography of me. May my funeral be as simple as possible, without flowers or any show; a few wild flowers might bo scattered over my grave. Let my burial be as little mournful as possible; the> earthly end of a poor sinner who died thankful to the Almighty-Cod for a long and very happy life."
