These were chiefly medium wethers with a very few ewes. Prices showed an advance of Is per head all round, keeping firm till the end of the sale. Best wethers 15s 6d to 17s, extra to 21s, medium to good 14s to 15s, light and unfinished 12s 9d to 18s 6d, best ewes 13s to 14s, extra to 15s 9d,me* dium to good 10s to 12s 3d. Pat Lambs—Only 800 penned, and prices showed no change from last week. Best lambs lis 6d to 12a 3d, extra heavy to 16a, medium 10s 3d to 12s, stores 9a 6d to 10s.

Fat Cattle There was a medium yarding of 366 head, principally good quality cattle. Bidding was keen and prices showed an advance of 5s to 10a per head. Best bullocks brought from £9 15s to JElOlOs, extra to J612, medium to good £& to £9 10a, light £6 10s to £1 16p, best cows and heifers £1 to £B, medium £5 10a to £6 ss, light £3 10s to M 10s. Pigs-189 yarded, including a good line of store pigs. There was a keen demand for suckers snd slips, but store pigs did not meet with such good sale. Porkers and baconers were fully up to last wetk'B rates. Suckers 14s to 16s. Blips 17s to 20a, stores 27s to 33a, porkers 88s to 435, light do 45s to 50s, heavy 58a to 60a, choppers to J64 Bs. Babbitskins—We held our weekly sale yesterday, when we offered a large catalogue. Prices exoept for prime winter does, showed a slight decline with a down* ward tendency. Although we received line of prime winter does, we do not think that bidding was quite so keen for these, Prime winter does 83d to 85Jd, seconds 29d to 32d, medium to good 24d to 28d, best winter bucks 17d to 20d, medium to good 15d to 17d, early winters to 18d, autumns 14d to 15'icl, racks 9d to lOd, best winter blacks to 33d, sicond winter do to26d, autumns 18d to 20d.
