Sir, —We gratefully acknowledge that the two " Anchor Reliance " Safes ot your make, which contained our Ledgers and other books, during the fire at 48, Old Bailey on Tuesday last, the 4th inst., when our premises were totally destroyed, have proved most satisfactory. In spite of the terrific heat, which melted the brass fittings on the outside of the Safes, every letter and figure in our Ledgers, etc., are thoroughly preserved, and a parcel in tissue paper in one of the drawers was not even diso>lurul. Another satisfactory feature is that the Safes fell through three floors, and were not damaged by the fall.—Yours truly, (Sgd.)
