[To The Editor.] Sir, —l would like to touch on the member of Kaitangata Cricket Club's letter dated Dec. 19th. It is by no means the wish of the club's members to protest against the favourite Taylor-Carrington Co. staging their play two I nights ahead of the club's concert. There is no wonder the members are disgusted with their member's letter. I consider the TaylorCarrlngton -Co. hive every right to play when and where they like; they are a good company, and are very much appreciated by the public of Kaitangata. I would like to state that the • Taylor-Carrington Co. had the Hall engaged just four weeks ahead of the Kaitangata Cricket Club. I think our club's member should have come to me- first, then I could have explained matters and saved him the exposure of rushing into unnecessary print. —l am, etc., J. Balch, Hon. Sec. X.C.C. i Dated 21st December.
