LITTLE BOY BLUE.
A kindergarten teacher has tried a pleasant way of teaching her scholars by reading them a poem and then asking them to draw a picture of it. The other day she read them the famous poem of ' Little Boy Blue,' which begins, as you know — ' Little Boy Blue, come blow me your horn, The sheep's in the meadow, the oow's in the corn,' and ends — 'Where's the little boy that tends the sheep ? ' He's under the haycock fast asleep.' One little girl finished her picture 'in twinkling of an eye/ and brought it up to the teacher. ' Why, Minnie/ said the teacher, * yon have drawn a very nice haycock, but where is Little Boy Blue ?' ' He's under the hay cook,' answered Minnie.
