Tffpo-y ear-old heiferß brought 44a to 56a, 18 months' cattle 35a to 36j, and yearliuga 27s to 28;. Fat Sheep — The fat oheep were mostly of excellent quality. There was a keen demand for prime freezers, which brought 17i 6d to 20i 6d, light; wethers down to 16 . Butchers' ewes from 16a to 18s for besl, anti 14s to 15s 6d for orhtrs. I hare waa a strong demand for merinos for fretz ng at 15s to lSd 4;1, and butchers' sorts Hi 6d to 14a. New fat lambs sold at from 12i 9d to 16i 3J. t-,Core ;?he-ip — All eorts sold well. Hoggets at from lla 6d to 14a Bd, wethais 15d 10.1, mixed two-ioofiba 16a, ewes with larrbs 10s So 19i 9d, and in limb 14a 9d to 15d lOd. Pigs — Ail clauses were firmer, baooneia realising 3d to 3^d per lb., and porkore 46. Per head, bacouors brought 35a fco 40j 6o ; porkers 24s to 33', Bfcores 20d to 28-*, &au smaller aortb 12 d 3d to 17s 6d.
