DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.

Weekly Bepobt. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows :•— There was a fairly g-rod tarn out of horses at oar salo last Satarday, hat very few country bnyers. Only a small portion of atook were sold at the hammer, but the following i-a\eß were effected privately :—A three-year-old filly at £40, another of the same age at £36 10 * ; one at £36 ; one at £34 10a ; one at £33 ; and several others from £31 downwards A fine four-year old old filly was passed in at £56, Light horses were well represented, and sold from £11 10s to £17, A p»ir of beautiful jblaok ponies,

the property of Messrs Kae and Tres brail were cold at 35gs. These ponies were imported from Australia by the owners, and, although tbey were too small for ordinary uee, for making a perfect match culd not be surpassed. We quote : Upstanding young mares and geldings at from £45 to £50 ; extra good, a few pounds more ; good do, £35 to £40 ; medium, £28 to £34 * aged, £15 o £25 j sound, young spring carters at from £25 to £30 ; good do, £18 to £24 ; medium, £14 to £17 ; light harness horses and hacks (best Bort * ), £16 to £25 ; good do, £10 to £15 ; medium, £8 to £10 ; aged and weedy sort*, £2 to £5.
