Meßsrß Moritzson and Hopkia, Dunedin, report as follows for week ending 13ih September : — We would ask farmers when sending samples always to put a price on them, as buyers will aot make offers. Wheat— Prime samples are readily placed at quotations, but other Borts have less inquiry than of late. We quote : For best velvet, 2a 4d to 2. 6i ; beßt Tuscan, 2a 5d to 2s 6d ; medium, 2s 3d to 2s 4d. Fowl feed is in good demand at from Is lOd to 2s per bushel. Oats. — Supplies coming to hand have been light, but there ia no improvement to report in prices. We quote : Best feed, ls 3d to ls 3_d ; Sutberlands, ls 5d to ls 5-Jd ; off colored oats, ls to le 2d. Barley.— Feed sorts are quoted at Is 6d to 2a ; milling, 2i to 2s 3d ; malting, 2s 4d to 3b 3d. Ryecorn. — 28 to2s6d. Flour: We quote £6 10s. Oatmeal, £8. Pearl barley, £12. Braa, £3. Pollard £3 10s. Nelson hops are quoted at 8d to lid, f.o.b. Potatoes — Prime Derwents aro worth from 27s 6d per ton for beat. Other sorts almost unsaleable. Chaff— A good demand for prime samples. We quote : Prime, £2 5a to £2 7s 6d ; medium £2 to £2 2s 6d. Ryegrass — The demand is rather better but so far little buainea3 has been dona owiog to growers not being reconciled to accept tho low prices ruling, and preferring to store in hopes of prices Improving. Rabbitßkins— We offered a large catalogue this week. Competition was good at prices which rnled about the same aB laßt week.
