THE INDUCTION
The Presbytery of Clutha met with the congregation on Wednesday last at 2.30 - p.m., and inducted the Rev. George Miller : to the pastoral charge of Tokomairiro. The j church was well filled. The Rev. P. , B ? . Fraser, of Lovells Flat, presided, and preached an exceedingly able sermon from I Cor. X, 31 : :' : "Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory bf God." Subsequently the Rev. J. Mw Allan addressed the newly inducted minister, and the Rev. S. W. Currie the people. , The ; members of the Presbytery then extended to Mr Miller the right hand of fellowship and welcomed him to a seat in their midst. At the close of the service, Mr and Mrs Miller took their stand at the main entrance of the church and afforded the members and adherents an opportunity : of shaking hands with them on retiring.
