Mr Tegetmeier, manager of the Bank of JSew Zealand, Wellington, applied to the directors to be relieved of his duties, partly oa tbe ground of ill-health, and partly for private reasons. He atked to be allowed to take up a position iv the bank in I London, where ho was formerly | manager. The directors have acceded I to the application, but the details are pot yet fully settled.
