FARMERS CLUB.

To thb Editor. Sta, — I was glad to see your leader a week ago anent the prosperity of the Tokomairiro Farmers Club, and that you properly appreciate the drawbacks thereto. I was not able, although I had fully intended, to be present at the annual meeting. It is just possible that criticisms from a new member — a sort of greenhorn to farming — might not have been quite favorably received. But one who is green to farming may a fujler knqwledge of other things. I would have concurred heartily in the resolutions to grant membership to donors of gifts and money of a certain value, ai}d to pubr Hah a li«t of members. I hope to see this appearing with next year's report and balance-sheet, together with the list of office-bearers, and in members' a full ten days before the annual meeting. There is one thing, however, that was not taken notice of at the meeting, an^ it is a thmg. tha^; strikes a . stranger like me. Iri" your Reader it was noticed indirectly. It s^ems to he considered that toko■^[aisibo is sy/nqnyrmous* and co-exten-§iv.e yfith B#pcE. \ ueed. not tell you, {^a^Tfe not, although there he son^e who •thjnlf that "t-fILTQH' ig even greater thaorßruoe,: Your circulation and business, would be considerably less if confined to Milton or even to Bruce.
