Monday Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, report that prices ruled as under at their auotion sale today:— Oats. — We offered a small oatalogue of oats, principally of medium and inferior quality, and these Bold readily at from Is lid to 2s Id. The market is quiet, but values remain unchanged. Best milling and seed are worth 2« 4d to 2s 6d ; beßt sparrowbills 2s 3d to 3s 4d. Wheat. — The demand waa Blaok, and in the ab enoe of any sales of importance, we report last week's quotations aa ruling values to-day. We offered a few lines of fowls' wheat at auotion to-day whioh Bold at 3s to 3 i 7d, Prime velvet 4a 4d to 4i 6d ; prime tuscan, 4s 3d to 4 ; 4d ; medium and inferior sortß in proportion. Potatoes.— Market quiet. We sold Southerns to-day at auotion at £3. Chaff.— Market glutted with Inferior to medium qualities, and prices in consequence have given way. Beat ohaff sold at £3 18b to £4 ; medium, £3 7s 6d to £3 12-3 6d ; straw chaff, £1 15s.
