Attractive Designs For Embroidery.
A pretty mantel border Is decorated In a novel style with croouses. Tho yellow flowers, which are open, form a straight row along the border, and between each of these, just springing out of the foliage, is a mauve crocus still in the bud. The effect is excellent. The "pansy brocade" embroideries are charming also. One example is a table cover which is worked with an "all over" pattern of yellow and violet pansies. Another is a buff linen photo frame, with group of pansies on the left side; the drapery of greenish yellow silk is caught into a puff at the top with a linen band, decorated with a row of pansies.
