Mount Stuart Road Board

The usual meeting of the Mount Stuart Road Board was held on Saturday. Present — Meßarß 0. J. Crawford (chairman), : R. Craig, A. Lowery, J. E, Palmer, T, ffttohon and W. Simpson. The minutes of previous meeting were read, and confirmed. A letter was reoeived from the manager of' the Glenore Dredging Company asking for the right to dredge for gold on the dosed road lines between the railway bridge and the traffio bridge, — Received. Mr Craig moved according to notioe of motion that a rate of £d' in the £ be levied on all rateable property, in the district.— Carried. The Clerk was Instruoted to take the nemfliary steps to fill the vacancy oauaed by non-attendance of H. H.
