PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council, under its powers contained in the " Public Works Act 1882, Amendment Act 1889," having altered the j course of an existing Road, propose to stop | the following Road-lines :— Road-line between Sections 4 and 18, Block VI., and between Sections 3 and 4, and through Sectirnß 2 and 3, Block VIII., Kaitangata Survey District. Road-line between Sections 7 and S, and Sections 9, 10, and 11, Block 1., North Tuakitoto Survey District. Road-line between Sections 5 and G, Block VI., South Tuakitoto, and Section 1, Block IX., North Tnakitoto Survey District. Any person having any objection to the proposed alterations are requeated to lodge same at the County Office, Milton, on or before the Ist day of July, 1890. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is intended at a meeting of the Kaitangata Borough Council, to be held in the Borough Chambers on Tuesday, the 15th day of July, 1890, to make and lnvy a GENERAL RATE of ONE SHILLING and THREEPENCE in the £ upon the values of all Ratable Property witbin the Borough as appears by the Valuation Roll for the time being ; that such Rate shall be made for the year ending 31at Marcb, 1891, and made payable in one instalment to the Collector at the Borough Chambers.
