TOKO. SCHOOL COMMITTEE

The above Committee met oq Friday evening. Present — Messrs Campbell (chairman), Twiss, Inglis, Murray, SproseD, and Moore. Mr Steward's bill to amend the Acb relate ing to the election of school cummittPes was considered, and it was moved by Mr lD«lia, seconded by Mr Twiss, and carried, "That the committee approve of the general principles of the bill, and especially the clause relating to the abolition of the cumulative vote."

The following accounts were passed for payment : — Janitor, £9 ; J. Gray, £5 Os SJ.
