The infoctfon which is spreading amoug sheep in Tasmania is said not to be Cumber land disease, and opinions differ whether it is stomach stampers or liver rot.
A commission which was sent to New Hebrides by the Presbyterian Church reports that the missions are flourishing, and three missionaries have been established on Bipiritu Santo. The operations of tbe French Company are becoming more extenoive, but Franoeville is a commune practically broken up.
