Jl passenger Who Was on board, the steamer Dacca, which was wrecked in the Red Sea, has arrived at Brisbaue and can give no reason for the disaster, aB the ann was shining brightly at the time the vessel struck, and they could see for miles around. A large number of passengers were landed in their night clothes, and the surrounding wittr wii literally swarming with sbarki.
Toe firemen belonging to the steamer bell ived badly ..fter the acoiden', and severa of them who were suap^cted of stealing money belonging to the passengers, were taken before the court at Port "Said and sentenced to terms of imprisonment.
Tamworth, BUtuted 283 nulea north of Sydney is partially flooded, and the drowning of a man called Lynch is reported.
