WILL Travel this Season in the East West, and North Taieri, and Maungatua Districts, standing two nights in the fortnight at Mr Samuel Young*, Mosgiel, commencing Tuesday, Bth October ; also one night in the fortnight at Maungatua, commencing 16 th October ; and the remainder of the time at Gowrie, West Taieri. YOUNG CLYDE is a dark brown, six years old, and has gained the following Prizes: — In 1874 he was awarded the Biggar Farmers' Society Prise of 100 soys., and travelled the same district in 1875. He also gained the Silver Medal at Carnwath both years, for the best horse that travelled the Upper Ward of Lanarkshire. At the Glasgow February Show in 1875 he was ont of the three drawn for the Champion Cup, and gained second honors at the Highland Society Show same year. In 1876 he was awarded the £100 premium to travel the Eastern District of Kirkcudbright ; and was also awarded £100 in 1877. PEDIGREE. Yottko Clyde was bred by Mrs Murdoch, Haughhead, out of her favorite mare " Maggie," which kind was long in her possession, and gained many prises at local and other shows. His sire was that famed horse •'Young Carapsie," the property of David Riddell, which gained the Glasgow Prise in 1868 and 1869,. and likrwise -the Highland Society's Prize. "Old Campsie," his grandsire gained the following Prizes :— ln 1862 '65, '66, '68, and '69, the West Calder premium of £40 each year ; in 1863 and 1865 Crieff and Strathern of £40 each year ; First Prize at the Highland Agricultural Society's Show in 1863 at Eelso ; and at Glasgow in 1867 the Society's Gold Medal.
