King Alfred's sire ia Pyrrhus Ist, winner of tbe Derby. Young Angler is bait brother to Cleolite, winner of tbe Wagga Wagga Cup last year, and balf brother to tbe Chrysolite Colt, winner of the present year's Derby- tbe fastest on record, both being by Angler. Premier is sire of The Fawn, the dam of the great Richmond. He is also sire of Marmion, Musidora, Ebor, Miranda, and many other winners. Mavourneen, by Lucifer, sire of Don Juan.
