MILTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The annual meeting of householders for the election of a school committee for Milton was held last night in the LSchool-house, Mr J. E. Brown in the chbir. The Chairman read the advertisement calling the meeting, and also the balance-sheet and report for the past year, which will be published ia our next issue. i>n the motion of Mr Cunningham, seconded by Mr J. E. Brown, the report; and balancesheet were adopted.
Mr H, White proposed, and Mr Moses seconded a vote of thauks to the Chairman for acting as Secretary during the patt year without fee or reward. This was carried unanimously,
Mr Malcolm alluded to the inconvenience sustained by the infant aud High schools being so far distant.
