The forces under General Sir Thomas Biddulph, who is in command of the Quettah division of the Anglo Indian invading forces, are advancing rapidly into the enemy's country. The Pei war garrison has been threatened with attack" by hostile tribes, and urgent messages have been sent to the General commanding the British forces in the neighborhood requesting reinforcements. General Roberts, in command of the Kurrum V"alley column of the AngloIndian invading forces, v has pushed forward beyond Shuter Garden, in the direction of Ghuzni, from which point he will co-operate with the Candabar division. , ;
