TOKOMAIRIRO ROAD BOARD.

The regular monthly meeting of the Tokomairiro Boad Board was held in the Council Chambers, Milton, on Friday evening, the 17th inst. Present— Mr Geo. COBRESPOITDEirCE. Mr George Cockeriirs letter, asking for a reduction of rates, laid on the table fiooj last meeting, was considered, and it was resolved that the Clerk be empowered to arrange with Mr Cockerill. . A letter was read from the Bruce County Council requesting that the Board forward a copy of the Vauation Roll for year 1879, and stating that the Council will pay half the cost of preparing the valuation up to a sum not exceeding £/>.
