Sydney, January 7Winers and other employe? at the Bulli Colliery have been dismissed, and all work is at a stand still. Melbourne, January 7. The cricket match between the Canterbury Eleven and East Melbourne ended in favour of the latter by 169 runs. A deputation from the Harbour Trust waited upon the Minister of Lands, with a proposal to supply 500,000 tona of silt for
reclamation of the swamps ar.und the city, at a cost of 23 per ton. Mr Longmore said that he would consult his colleagues.
