NEW ADVERTISEMENTS. THRASHING ! THRASHING ! ! REAL MACKAY COAL QUARRIES. THIS Coal has fairly established itself «s the "VERY BEST in the District for Thrashiog^Purpoaes, as attested by the fact that for years past Jmost of the Thrashing Machine Owners use nothing else, the saving in time, labor, and fuel, effected Jbeing very considerable, as all but daily confirmed l>y results obtained. The NEW PITS have this Season proved to ( be fully equal in quality to the OLD QUARRY, but as some old consumers prefer the latter, those especially desirous can have supplies at the Old Quarry as hitherto - in years past. My attention has bjeen directed to a Circular issued by the present Lessee of the . Bruce Coal Company's Mines purporting to supply Coal "at face by M'Kay's Quarfy/ 7 and I would simply desire to warn consumers against being -misled by such UNTRUTHFUL STATEMENTS, which have no FOUNDATION WHATEVER IN FACT, as no one but myself can supply^Coal AT FACE BY MACKAY'S. Consumers will please insist- upon receiving Waybills issued with each Load, as complaints have reached me from consumers regarding the quality of Coals which were never supplied although so ordered. Con-j sumers will also please observe that the weights in writing as delivered at the pits are charged thain, and nothing more. \ JOHN RETD, Manager. "fAMES BICKSON AND SON, ** : UNDERTAKERS.
