Grand Concert and Ball by the Dunedin Volunteer Artillery Band, under the patronage of his Worship the Mayor and City Councillors, Foresters, &c. The Dunedin Volunteer Artillery Band, in compliance with the request of a number of friends in Tokomairiro, have great pleasure in announcing that they will visit the town, and give a Grand Vocal and Instrumental CONCJERT, on which occasion the choicest Operatic and Popular Selections from the Band's repertoire will be performed by the Full Band of the Dunedin Artillery (numbering 30. performers) under the Direction of M. Hume, B. M. The high reputation which the Band has earned for efficiency will be a sufficient guarantee that the Programme will be rendered in first-class style. In addition to the selections to h-j^ performei by the Band, the following favorite Dunedin Vocalists will contribute to the Programme :— Mr G. H. Marsden, Mr W. Morrison, Mr Sinclair, Mr D. Matheson. Messrs Haig and Hannagan (members of the Band) First Prize Dancers at the Dunedin Caledonian Games, will give some of their Prize Dances. The Concert will commence at 8 o'clock sharp, and terminate at 10.
