A. Mbbcer reports for the week ending 10th June, retail prices only ! — Fresh butter in £ and lib prints, Is lOd to 2s per lb ; fresh butter in lumps, Is 9d ; powdered and salt butter, Is Bd. The supply of fresh butter has fallen off, but tbe market is very well sup plied, as there is not so much demand owing to the advanced price, and salt butter is selling well. Salt butter in kegs, Is 4cl to Is 5d per lb, provincial ; imported, cheaper. Cheese, the best quality, Is 2d per lb ; side and rolled bacon, Is to Is Id ; colonial hams, Is 3d ; English hams, Is 6d to Is 8d : eggs, 2s 6d per dozen.

Sheepskins. 1 — At our weekly sale on Wednesday, there was a good attendance, and competition was active. Prices ranged as follows * — Butchers' groenskins, merino, 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; do, crossbreds, 2s lOd to 3s 2d ; station skins, Is Gd tp 4s 3d, according to quality. Hides. — We catalogued about 130, which were disposed of at from 14s 9d to 23s 6d each, for light and medium weights, being equal to from 4d to 4£d por lb. Grain. — The market continues quietly firm, without alteration in ralues. "Wheat — prime samples are worth 4s 6d to 4s 9d per bushel ; medium do, 4s 2d to 4s 4d. Oats are moving off at from Is 9d to Is lOd per bushel for good feed, and 13 lid to 2s for prime milling samples. For barley the demand is not very active. Prime malting may be quoted at 4s 6rt to 4 s 8d per bushel; medium and inferior samples difficult to quit.
