Oamaru, May 22. A terrible boiler explosion took place at a quarter to eight o'clock this morning, on the railway, at Waiareka-Maheno junction. The boiler of M'Cormack and Go's, engine burst. Mr AJe^andey r t'<}yl°r, inspector of works, was killed instantly, and Mr John On\ engineer, was badly hurt. Me C. Campbell was badly bruised and scalded, and so were two more men whose names have not transpired.
