Subscribers can commence at any date, and will be charged in proportion to the end of current half-year. Notice to discontinue subscriptions MUST be in writing, and posted, or delivered to the office direct, addressed to the Manager. (Verbal messages to travellers or agents will in no case be regarded. This rule will be strictly adhered to and reply by circular from the office, notifying date of discontinuance will be forwarded. Current half-year ends June 30, 1875. Terms of Advertising : — - Casual Advertisements, 3s per inch first insertion ; 2s per inch each subsequent insertion (unless ordered for three months). Standing Advertisements for three or six months can be arranged for at a liberal discount. Trade Cards and Advertisements, to appear for twelve months and over, with right to occasional alteration of matter, at still lower rates of charge. Orders for Advertisements, if not accompanied by instructions of number of insertions, will in all cases be treated as standing advertisements, and continued until written notice is forwarded to the Manager for discontinuance. Notice to discontinvie advertisements (unless where number of insertions is mentioned on original order) must be forwarded, in writing, addressed to the Manager, at the Publishing Office, Milton.
