The early prospect of th« opening of railway communication will cause this Hotel to command alarge trade with Dunedin, and with up-country visitors, attracted by the fine lake and river scenery* of the district Tne Hotel will be thoroughly renovated, re-painted, and rendered second, in comfort and convenience, to no house on the road out of Dunedin, and the Proprietor trusts that his efforts to accommodate his patrons, to the utmost in his power, will meet with the approval ; and support of the community. Comfortable pleasure boats in variety will be speedily provided in connection with the Hotel *o enable visitors to examine the un•urpassed Taieri hiver scenery from the East Taieri bridge to the Taieri River Mouth, no where excelled in the Col«i»y ; also the Waihol» Lake scenery, which will, no doubt, attract boating and picnic parties from Dunedin and surrounding districts on th« opening up. of railway communication with Dunedin and the interior.
