Messrs Wright, and Co. report for the week ending November 14, as follows :—

Fat Cattle. — 112 head were yarded and all quitted at . about last week's rates. Bullocks fetched from £10 lO.s to £18, and cows from £L oto £16 15s; prices equal to 40a to 42s 6d per 100 lbs for prime quality, and 32s 6d *or medium do. We have placed privately 30 head lor forward delivery at quotations Fat Sheep. — The number penned, 1600, Was rather beyond the requirements of the trade and about 550 had to be turned out. We sold 250cro!«sbreds at from 25s 6dto 27s each. We quote prime crossbreds, 4fd per lb; do, merinos, 4:1. Fat Lamb.*. — 130 were penned, but a portion being very ordinary quality, only 80 found buyers, and these at from 8s to 12s each.

Store Cattle. — There is an active demand for well grown cattle, especially bullocks. We quote bullocks, 3 to 5 y«*ars, £5 to £6 10s , spayed cows, £4 to £5 10s ; mixed herds, £3.

fctore Sheep. — No transactions. Horses.— The demand continues good, principally for heavy draughts and coachers. At our yards, on Saturday, our sales consisted chiefly of dealers' lots, of which a fair number changed hands. Next Saturday, 2 1st instant, w« shall offer at our yards, on account of Mr James Glasson, a shipment of first class heavy draught mares and geldings exOtago, from Melbourne. We quote first class draughts £60 to £75 ; medium do, £40 to £50 , good hacks and light harness horses, £25 to £35 ' medium do, £15 to £18; light and inferioi, £5 to £9. Sheep *>kina.— Our weekly sale was well attended by buyers. We catalogued 960 green and station skins, and disposed of •»ery- lot, at tully last week's rates, as follows :— Butchers' green *kitn, halfbred*, 6« 7d to 7s 6d ; merino, 5s 9il to 6s 3d each; station Bkins, 2u Id to 6<, according to quality. We also sold several lots of wool at satisfactory rates. .Hides continue in fair request, and command from 4d to 4j-d per pound. We catalogued and sold 125 ■<» follows: Medium treitthts, 16s 9d to 18s Cd ; light, 12a 4d to Ui 9d.

Gram, — Wheat is in fair demand. Good Bim pies fetch from 5s 3d to 5s 6d per bushel. Oats are very searcp. Any good lots coming forward could be plaeel at from 5d 9d to 6s per bushel. Barley : Malting is worth 5s to 5s 6d per bushel ; inferior, 4s to 4s 9d.
