CLUTHA COAL FIELD. nnENDERS are invited for the purchase of X the PLANT at the Clutha Coal Field, particulars of which can be seen at the office of the Secretary for Works, Dunedin, and the Police Station, Balclutha. A lease of the Clutha Coal Field, if required, will be given to the successful tenderer for 7, 14, or 21 years, as may be agreed upon, at a rental of L4O per annum. Tenders will be received until the first of April next ; and the Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest. SPENDERS WANTED, by the Matau -*- Road Board, for the following works, viz. : — 1. Extracting Stumps, and forming Road from Balloon Gate to Kai. tangata Punt. 2. Supplying and spreading Gravel on Swamp Road from English Church to Dickson's. ■$&&&£ 3. Forming and Gravelling Manse Road, from Allison's Corner to Mr J. C. Anderson's. 4. Sundry works and repairs on the Hill Road, leading to Ferry and Smiths, Swamp Road.
