iKiTCHEK GXRtoEN.— Clear away the remainder .-of crops past use : ; manure and dig the g-Tfound for future crops. Plaint 'cabbages and cauliflowers on rich ground, fclso curled greens. Dress asparagus, sea iale and rhubarb beds with manure, dug in with a fork. . In digging ground at this season, lay it up in ridges roughly, so that the greatest possible surface may be exposed to the j leather. In settling the rotation of cropping, avoid planting the same piece f of ground twice in succession with the tsame •sort of crop. Plant potato onions. Fkuit GARDEN.^-Plaht strawberries as early as possible, so as to give them a start 1 before growth stops. Towards the 'end -of the month gooseberry and currant i lushes may be transplanted. Flower Garden. — Protect hj glass r or caßco tender things in pots or boxes, asraniums, petunias, etc., giving plenty •of air and but little water. Plant cuttings of laurel latiristinus, loses, etc., in sandy soil. Plant crocus ; and snowdrops. Hardy evergreens may ■now be transplanted.
