A TITLE FOR SIR GEORGE GREY.
It is rumoured that His Excellency will shortly be elevated to the peerag-e as a reward for his conduct in Kawau and New Zealand. Consequently he will require a title of some kind. /Now Mr Punch if of opinion that all titles should in some way indicate, and trumpet forth to the world, as it were, the special qualites which have earned for their possessor such proud distinction at the hands of Her Most Gracious Majesty. Punch would therefore suggest the Sir George Grey should take the style and title of — ' Baron of Commonsense.'— ' Dunedin Punch.' "
