MAKOTUKU.
Mr. C. Hyde, just taken over Mr A. B. Davis's'WJn, had some unfortunate luck yesterday. It appears that Mr. Hyde bought two cows at a sale near Norsewood, and when Hearing home one of the cows dropped dead on the road. The cause of death is not yet known. It is pleasing to note that the Coronation Oak planted in the Domain has at last been fenced in. The work lias been capably carried out by Mr. A. B. Hansen, of Norsewood.
