Press Assn—By telegraph—Copyright PARIS, June 19. The Paris-Genville- express collided with a slow train standing at Villapreux, westward of Versailles, telescoping^several carriages. The engine was derailed and the restaurant car caught fire, the flames spreading to the other carriages. The tire brigades were hampered by lack of water. Ten corpses were recovered and twenty-five were injured. (Received June 20, 2.10 p.m.) PARIS, June 19. Local trains are stationary, owing to the breakdown at Viliepreux. : Many passengers had alighted, and strolled along the platform, otherwise the disaster would have been more serious. Tlhe • driver of the express did nat notice the signals. He declared he was attending to the engine, which was not ' working satisfactorily, though there is evidence that he descended the gradient at Viliepreux at a speed of between 50 and 60 miles an hour.
