VISITS KHARTOUM. Press Assn—By telegraph—Copyright. (Reecived March 17, 8.20 a.m.) CAIRO, March 16. Ex-President Roosevelt, with his wife and daughter, are staying at a palace in Khartoum. He inspected the battlefields round the city, and addressed the students at the Gordon College. He said he was greatly impressed with the wonderful results of British rule, and particularly at the palatial houses and gardens of Khartoum.
