A SYDNEY MURDER.

A BARMAID SHOT. Press Assn-—By telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, March 15. A barmaid named Stark, at the Cafe Itfalien in Bond-street, Avas shot dead this afternoon. a man calling himself Walter Lovett entered the bar and fired shot after shot at the woman, who fell, bleeding from several wounds. The man then turned the revolver on himself ,and inflicted minor wounds. Stark died almost immediately, exclaiming "Look after my girl." Lovett told the proprietors of the cafe on Saturday that Stark was his wife. Stark had her left eye completely blown out and two terrible wounds in the head and two others in the body. The murderer stated he was a commercial traveller. He had been drinking heavily.
