HOCKEY.
'At a meeting of several hockey enthusiasts last evening it was decided to form a mew hockey club to be called "The Kiwi Hockey Club." The club will run a Saturday team, and will thus enable the local clubs to have a Saturday and Wednesday competition. After some discussion amber and gold colors were dicided on. Mr G. L. Gee was elected captain, Mr J. Rasmussen vice-captain. Selection Committee: Messrs Gee, Rasmussen and M'lntosh; Manage-' meait Committee: Messrs Gee, Rasmussen, M'lntosh and the secretary; secretary and treasurer: Mr F. Phillips The subscription was fixed at ss. Messrs Gee and the secretary were ..appointed delegates to the union. The first practice was fixed for Thursday evening at 5.15, and after that on Saturday afternoon at 3 and' Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Following are members of the new club : Gee, J. Rasmussen, C. Rasmussen, 0., Anderson, Hay ward, M'lntosh, L. Blair, Wright, Garston, Kelly, Leete, C. Edwaa'ds, Jensen, R. Craven, A'lhirdice, J. Lascelles, F. Hill, C. Daly.
