'Mr M'Millan has resigned his position as inspector of nuisances and lamplighter for the borough, and wishes his resignation to take effect from the end of the month. Tenders are invited by the Dannevirke County Council for various metalling contracts. The same body gives notice that 10 per cent, will be addeci to all rates not paid on the 24th instant, and that summonses are being prepared in l'espect of same.
