PRESENTATIONS.

[press association.] WELLINGTON, March 14. Officers of the Audit Department to-day made presentations to two retiring officers, Mr J. K. War burton, late Auditor and Controllei-General. On behalf of the former gentleman* who was unable to be present owing to illness, Colonel Collins, the new Auditor-General, received a valuable silver coffee pot and salver. To Mr Hey wood, who leaves shortly for England, was given a photograph of the staff, a cigar case, sovereign case, and rug. The Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, presided.
