They must reduce stocks to make Toom for very heavy shipments of autumn goods on the way out. January the 21st will be a red-letter-day for Dannevirke, when M'Dowell and Power will commence their big half-yearly surplus drapery sale. _ Their sales are now quite an institution and eagerly looked forward to, being genuine and sweeping in character.
