SECOND RACE. WON BY CULWALLA 111. Press Assn—By telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, March 13. Tlie second race for the Sayonora Cup was sailed over a triangular course seven mile seacli way. Sayonora was quickest off the mark, but Culwalla 111., lying more to windward, forged ahead. Culwalla 111., beautifully handled, continued to improve her position, and rounded the first buoy 4min losec ahead of Sayonora. The Victorian yacht made up, but again lost ground in tlie second stretch, passing the second buoy four minutes behind Culwalla 111. On the run home with the wind behind her, Sayonora showed to better advantage than earlier in the race, but could not make np the lost ground, Culwalla 111. beating her home by about throe minutes. The winner's time was 3hrs 17mins.
