A meeting of those interested in forming a football club was held in the Weber Library on Thursday evening, and when the club is properly formed, it is expected to number 30 strong. The following officers were elected :-^— M rF. Armstrong; presidents, Messrs M. Herrick and L. G. Crosse; vice-presidents, Messrs Iv. Cameron, K. M'Le'an, W. Francis, and E. Y. Campbell; committee, Messrs C. Hales, L. Weaver, secretary, captain, and sub-captain (the two latter to b eappointed at a later date) ; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. Stephens. The club is to be known as the Weber Football Club. It was resolved to join the East Coast Union. The annual subscription was fixed at 55,. and black and gold were decided upon as the club's colors. The secretary was instructed to interview Mrs M. Ryan re the use of practice ground, and report to next meeting, to be- held on Thursday week.
